The Tailgate Bar & Grill

A bar and grill on 2nd Street in Crawford, the Dawes County town under the Pine Ridge. Crawford is the gateway to Fort Robinson State Park — the old cavalry post where Crazy Horse was killed in 1877 and the Cheyenne Outbreak took place, now the largest state park in Nebraska — with Toadstool Geologic Park and the Hudson-Meng Bison Kill in the badlands north of town. This is the room in Crawford itself, on Highway 20 between Chadron and Harrison.
