The Homestead Market

The Homestead Market is the grocery store at Dalton, a Cheyenne County village on Highway 385 north of Sidney in the Panhandle wheat country. In a village of a few hundred a grocery is a community service as much as a business, carrying the produce, meat, dairy, frozen and pantry staples that would otherwise mean a thirty-mile drive.
