Union Orchard

Union Orchard is a working apple orchard with a farm market and bakery just off Highway 75 in Union, in southeast Nebraska. The University of Nebraska started a fruit farm on these 80 acres in 1917. In 1961 it passed to the Lechner family as Lechner Families Union Orchard, and the Wostrel family took it over in late 2011.

The store is open every day of the week. It is known for fresh apple cider donuts, and in season an outdoor grill serves hamburgers and cheeseburgers along with fall activities.
