Bethesda Mennonite Church

Bethesda hosts the Mennonite Central Committee mobile meat cannery on its annual round. The cannery travels the country each year and around 30,000 volunteers fill, weigh, wash and label the cans, which go to partners in places facing a shortage of protein. The Henderson stop usually runs over several long days in November and volunteers work alongside the traveling crew. The MCC Central States office on 1-888-563-4676 has the current dates.
