A tavern on East 5th Street in downtown Lexington, opened in 2021 by Oscar and Sarah DeLaTorre. The name is for their daughter Evelina, who has Down syndrome — trisomy 21 — and the tavern marks World Down Syndrome Day on 21 March and Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October. It is a relaxed room built for meeting rather than drinking: a salad bar, specialty cheeseburgers and hot beef sandwiches, beer and spirits, karaoke and live music nights, and daily food and drink specials. Open eleven in the morning until eleven at night early in the week and until one at the weekend, closed Sundays.
