Double B Bar and Grill

The bar and grill on North Main Street in Tobias, a Saline County village of well under two hundred people south of Friend. In a village this size the bar is the whole of the social infrastructure, and this one has kept going where most have not. Saline County is Czech country — Wilber is twenty minutes east — and the room draws from the surrounding farms as much as from Tobias itself.
