Gateway Mall, at 6100 O St., is an enclosed shopping mall in east Lincoln with about 975,000 square feet and roughly 100 stores. It opened in 1960 as an outdoor center developed by Bankers Life Insurance Company of Nebraska and was largely enclosed during 1990s renovations. Westfield owned it from 2001 to 2012, when it was called Westfield Shoppingtown Gateway and a $45 million renovation added a food court and carousel. CBL Properties became its owner in March 2026. Anchors include Dillard's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Round 1 and JCPenney.
