Glenn’s True Value

Glenn’s True Value at 622 6th Street in Pawnee City occupies three connected buildings that have held a hardware store since 1892. Harrington Brothers opened it that year and ran it until 1929, followed in turn by Haas Hardware, Vestal’s Western Auto, Riley Hardware and Woods True Value. Steve and Marie Glenn bought it in 2000 and have run it since, building it into a five-store family group with three stores in Lincoln and one at Hickman. Store manager Ethan Petrashek.
