Beth’s Bar & Grill

One of two bars and grills in Benkelman, the Dundy County seat in the far southwest of the state. This is the Chief Street room. Benkelman is a county-seat town of under a thousand on Highways 34 and 61 in the Republican valley, close enough to the Kansas and Colorado lines that trade comes from three states. Between this and Sha Rae’s the town keeps two rooms going, which is unusual at this population.
