Tub’s Pub

The pub on West Fifth Avenue in Sumner, a Dawson County village north of Lexington on the edge of the Wood River valley. It is the village’s single public room and works as the meeting place as much as the bar. Sumner sits on the road between Lexington and Broken Bow, and the country north of it runs up into the Sandhills — good ground for anyone hunting through the autumn.
