Grand Island Public Library

The Grand Island Public Library provides free access to books, digital resources, programs, and community spaces for residents of Grand Island and Hall County. The library offers children's programming, computer access, and meeting rooms.

The Nebraska Library Commission records a collection of about 114,804 items, roughly 325,570 checkouts a year and 38,624 registered borrowers. Visitors have access to 55 public internet computers and free wireless. It belongs to the Central Plains Library System, one of the regional systems that share services among Nebraska libraries.
