Old School Thrift Store

Old School Thrift Store is a volunteer-run thrift and consignment shop in the three-story schoolhouse at 425 E 4th St in Orchard, spread over seven rooms of the old building, which it shares with the Orchard Public Library. Open Tuesday to Friday, 1:00 to 4:00 pm. It started in 2022 and all proceeds go back into the community. The building is the old Orchard school: Orchard, Clearwater and Ewing merged their districts into Summerland Public School in 2020 and built one school out in the country, leaving the three town schoolhouses empty. This one found a new use two years later.
