Kearney County Public Transportation

Minden is the seat of Kearney County, and the county's public transport comes through RYDE, the seven-county network operated by Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska. Kearney County should not be confused with the city of Kearney, which lies in Buffalo County to the north and has its own arm of the same network. Journeys are booked ahead by telephone and combined with others going the same way, so the vehicle that arrives may already have somebody aboard. Fares are set locally rather than across the network as a whole.
