Hamilton County Handi Bus

Aurora is the base for Hamilton County's share of the RYDE network, which Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska runs across seven counties of central Nebraska. Unlike the network's western end there is no corridor route passing through Hamilton, so every journey here is made to order: you telephone, and a dispatcher fits you into the vehicles already moving that day. Riders are asked to be ready a quarter of an hour either side of the time they are quoted, since the schedule flexes as other bookings come in.
