The Saline County Fair is held in Tuxedo Park at 1600 Tuxedo Park Road in Crete, over a full week in mid-July. The setting is unusual: the fairgrounds sit inside a city park rather than on a standalone rural site, and the Saturday parade physically links downtown Crete to the grounds, starting at 10th and Main and running out to the fair. Figure-eight races, a grandstand concert, a rodeo and the Crete Volunteer Fire Department barbecue fill the week.
