Richardson County Fairgrounds is the county fairground for Richardson County, at 4th Street east off Highway 105 in Humboldt. It is generally known locally as Humboldt Fair Grounds. Like most Nebraska fairgrounds it is owned by the county agricultural society and is in use well beyond fair week — rodeos, horse shows, tractor pulls, sales and community events. The 4-H side of the county fair is run by Nebraska Extension in Richardson County, which handles entries, livestock identification and the certification a young person needs before showing an animal. The grounds are at Humboldt rather than the county seat at Falls City, and sources differ on the street number.
