The Hamilton County Fair is held each summer at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Aurora, organized by the Hamilton County Agricultural Society, established in 1871 — the fair bills itself as "Nebraska's Longest Continuously Running County Fair," celebrating 155 years in 2026.
The 2026 fair runs July 30-August 2 and features a demolition derby, a concert, trailer races, a tough trucks event, and traditional 4-H and open-class livestock shows and exhibits.
