Blair City Hall

Blair City Hall is the municipal office for Blair, Nebraska, at 218 South 16th Street. Blair is the county seat of Washington County, on the bluffs above the Missouri River about twenty-five miles north of Omaha. The city offices handle municipal administration, utility accounts, permits, licensing and city records, and house the mayor's office and the council chambers. The town was founded in 1869 and named for John I. Blair, the railroad builder whose line reached the site. Blair is home to a large corn-processing and industrial biotechnology complex, and was the home of Dana College until its closure in 2010.
