Smitty’s Place Rushville

A bar on East 2nd Street in Rushville, the Sheridan County seat. Rushville has around eight hundred people and four bars, which tells you the town serves a great deal of country: it is the last town on Highway 20 before the road north on Highway 250 runs up to Pine Ridge and Wounded Knee in South Dakota, and ranch trade comes in from a long way out. This is the 2nd Street room.
