Prengers

A restaurant that stood at the corner of 1st Street and Norfolk Avenue for eighty-five years, opened in 1932 and run from 1985 by the Zabawa and Crowley families. It closed suddenly in July 2017 when the building was sold, with no notice to the town — several of the staff had been there twenty-five years or more. It was one of Norfolk’s landmarks.
