Description

Sage Memorial Museum is operated by the Brownville Historical Society and is dedicated to Native American history. The museum houses a notable collection of 58 photographs by Frank Rinehart taken at the 1898 Indian Congress in Omaha, featuring prominent chiefs such as Geronimo, Red Cloud, and White Swan.

 

The museum is open 1:00-4:00 PM Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from early April through October; admission is free. Group tours and other accommodations can be arranged through the Brownville Historical Society.
