Louis E. May Historical Museum is operated by the Dodge County Historical Society and is housed in the historic 1874 Nye-May-Holmes mansion at 1643 North Nye Avenue, Fremont, Nebraska. The museum features period rooms and exhibits on Dodge County history.

The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday, with tours beginning at 10:00 AM and the last tour starting at 3:30 PM (closed daily 12:30-1:30 PM for lunch). The Dodge County Historical Society office is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
