The Marxhausen Gallery of Art is located on the main floor of Jesse Hall at Concordia University, Nebraska, and is named for Reinhold Marxhausen, the university's first faculty member, hired in 1951. The Bartels Museum shares the building and campus.
The gallery hosts rotating exhibitions in a range of artistic mediums and holds a collection that includes works by artists such as Rauschenberg, Frank Stella, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, alongside pieces by Marxhausen himself.
