Description

Indian Cave State Park is one of Nebraska's most scenic and secluded state parks, located along the Missouri River bluffs near Shubert in Richardson County. The park is named for a large sandstone cave featuring Native American petroglyphs. Visitors can explore over 20 miles of hiking and equestrian trails through dense hardwood forests and dramatic bluffs overlooking the Missouri River. A recreated 1800s frontier town is open seasonally. The park offers primitive and modern camping, cabins, and picnic shelters. A Nebraska State Park Entry Permit is required.
