The Nebraska State Capitol, located in Lincoln, is a unique architectural landmark and the seat of government for Nebraska. Designed by architect Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue in 1920, it features a 400-foot tower that is the tallest building in the state outside of Omaha. The Capitol houses the Nebraska Legislature, which is the only unicameral state legislature in the U.S., and includes the offices of the Governor and the Nebraska Supreme Court. The building is known for its stunning murals, intricate mosaics, and the iconic "The Sower" statue, symbolizing Nebraska's agricultural heritage. The Capitol is open to the public for guided tours and offers panoramic views from its observation deck.
